Bryony Sutherland is a freelance book editor and author with over twenty years’ experience in many different areas of the publishing world, including writing, editing, proofreading, indexing, and rights administration. Ten of her books have been traditionally published in the UK, Europe, America, and Australia, with editions printed in English, German, Spanish, and Danish. She is a seasoned ghostwriter and editor of fiction and non-fiction, and particularly enjoys editing for independent and emerging authors.
In 1997, Bryony co-founded the freelance writing company, Atomic Partnership Ltd, with Lucy Ellis. Together they have been called “professional storytellers” by The Guardian, “very professional” by Film Review, “immensely readable” by The Beat Goes On, “detailed” by Sunday Express, and “insightful” by OK! magazine. A selection of their books is reproduced here with Lucy’s kind permission.
Bryony’s 2015 collaboration with Sarah Ratliff, Being Biracial: Where Our Secret Worlds Collide, is an anthology of twenty-four curated essays exploring how being more than one ethnicity affects identity.
